Rules and Safety

Low-Speed Vehicles (LSV�s) can be driven on any road with a posted speed limit of 25miles per hour (mph) or less.

While on a public roadway, the operator can cross over a road with a posted speed limit of more than 25mph but must only travel on roadways with posted limits of 25mph or less

Major Streets that are not allowed to be driven on in Holmes Beach are:

Gulf Dr (where posted above 25mph), Marina Dr, Palm Dr

Major streets that are allowed to travel on in Holmes Beach are:

Holmes Blvd & 2^nd Ave

LSV�s cannot be driven faster than 25mph.

Each driver/operator must be 25 years of age.

Each driver must carry a valid driver�s license and auto insurance coverage while operating the vehicle.

No more than four passengers may ride on a 4-Passenger LSV and no more than six passengers may ride on a 6-passenger LSV.

LSV�s must follow the same traffic laws as any motor vehicle (cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc).
